About Stretch Canvas prints

Our Stretched Canvas Prints are a traditional canvas box print and you can choose the type of edging that you require – wrapped edges or a plain colour.

Our Stretch Canvas prints are unique as they are made using top quality cotton canvas  and the print frames are made out of corrugated board. This makes them incredibly strong but also very light so that they are easy to handle and hang, even on modern thin plasterboard walls. You don’t even need heavyweight fixings!

You can have a standard photo mounted in either Landscape or Portrait formats, but we also offer you the option of square pictures and 2, 3 or more part images – these are multi sections of the same image split over 2 or 3 (or more) individual canvases to make a panorama.

To create a canvas we only need the photograph which you can send by email or post a copy on USB memory stick or CDR to us and we’ll make the print for you.

We can also make copies of your original printed photo’s by scanning the originals (which we will return) and mounting the scan. This can be very effective, especially if you are looking for a unique gift or statement piece for your office lobby or entrance hall.

Shapes Available

If you would like something a bit more unusual, you can have a whole variety of shapes made because our materials lend themselves perfectly to be made into different shapes.

Benefits of Corrugated board canvas prints

Light and Strong

Using a corrugated board construction makes the product both very light and very strong. The light weight makes hanging the print anywhere an absolute breeze. You need absolutely no special technical skill to hang one!

So even if you have a plasterboard partition wall, you can still safely hand one of our prints.

No re-stretching

The different elements are all permanently bonded together which means you are guaranteed results that last.  Some of the budget end canvas prints you might find will loosen off over time and sag.

These will then require re-stretching at extra cost and inconvenience.

Green sourcing

Corrugated materials are all made entirely from re-cycled paper and board. There is no virgin wood is used in the construction or manufacture.

The canvas itself

Where others may use synthetic canvases, we use only natural cotton & linen for our canvases. These are inherently more stable and do not stretch like many manufactured counterparts.
A lot of canvas prints available to you, are manufactured from synthetically produced fabric, which inherently does not stretch. However, our canvas products are made from only natural, cottons and linens.

Sealed corners for longer life

The raw edges of the canvas at the corners and sides of the print are internally folded, so the canvas is not prone to fraying over time.  This means your canvas will look good for the life of your print.
